A Special message from Designer Bums
As one chapter closes, another beautiful one begins. Following the farewell message from Designer Bums' founder, Carla, there was an outpouring of love and interest from those wanting to see the brand continue. It became clear just how cherished Designer Bums is within the community.
We’re excited to share that Designer Bums has found its new home with a passionate and familiar face from within our community. A long-standing customer, proud OG Pop Tart, and experienced cloth nappy mum, the new owner brings a deep love for the brand and a strong alignment with its values, care, and creativity.
Our original creative team will be staying on, so the unique designs and familiar faces you know and love will continue to be part of the journey.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more updates as the transition unfolds. Thank you for being such a valued part of the Designer Bums family — the future is bright, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Meet Elysia
I’m Elysia – a proud mum of two and long-time member of Camp DB since 2017 (before it was Camp DB!). While my own little ones are now off at school, I’m never too far from nappies, with family and friends happily offering me their new bubs to cuddle (and change!).
This year, I set out with a clear goal: to work with an organisation whose values truly align with my own. When I saw the opportunity with Designer Bums, I knew it was meant to be. From the very beginning, this group felt like an oasis among parenting spaces, and I’ve always admired the beautiful community that Carla has created here.
Carla’s passion and vision have shaped Designer Bums into the much-loved, eco-conscious brand it is today. She has poured her heart into building this community, and her decision to hand over the reins has been made with the utmost care. I feel deeply honoured that she has entrusted me with the safe stewardship of her beloved brand, and I will work hard to protect and nurture the legacy she has created.
My heart is set on honouring and building on that legacy; keeping Designer Bums the stylish, sustainable, and eco-conscious choice that families know and love. Together, I’m excited to continue growing this vibrant community and helping even more families discover the joy of beautiful, earth-friendly essentials.
